NOT A DAY WITHOUT THE MUSEUM
Inform, experiment, participate: Starting in 2020, the BIOTOPIA Lab at the Munich Botanical Garden gives a taste of the future BIOTOPIA. After the Museum Man and Nature closes and before BIOTOPIA reopens, the Lab provides a focal point for school classes and anybody who is interested to learn about BIOTOPIA.
EXHIBITIONS, PEDAGOGICAL PROGRAMMES, EVENTS
Occupying 350 square meters, the Lab is a vivid space, offering room for smaller exhibitions, workshops, a lab area, a kitchen and an event area. The spatial concept has been designed by Munich-based designer Konstantin Landuris.

During the opening year, the Lab addresses the topics Food and Eat, while outdoor patches in the Botanical Garden complement the activities.
"A longstanding relationship connects us with BIOTOPIA and we are delighted to contribute our expertise regarding healthy eating and renewable energy to the unique space of knowledge that is the BIOTOPIA Lab."
Maria Thon, CEO of the BayWa Foundation
